This is an informative review. I sampled the opening introduction about Brooke, and I agree that the narration style is lovely. Travel adventures with good companions must be fun, and your perfect rating and positive review about a variety of travel experiences in this book has intrigued me to read it.

Memoirs and travelogues are not my thing. I sampled a few pages of the book, and I will have to take a pass on this. I also don't believe this old guy fits into the proper demographic to enjoy this book. Nevertheless, congrats to the author on her achievement and BOTD.

"Europe on a G-string" sounds like an enticing journey not only through some of the most beautiful places in Europe but also through the themes of friendship, adventure, and personal growth. L.A. Florrie appears to have the ability to not just recount her travel stories, but also to immerse readers in the feeling that they are part of this group of adventurers. This book could certainly serve as an inspiration for those looking to embark on adventures of their own, as well as for those who appreciate travel narratives that offer not just physical journeys but also emotional and spiritual growth.

I don't think anyone ever regretted taking the opportunity to travel for 6 months when possible. I love talking to people who had the experience, and reading a memoir full of memories of places, people and wild nights will make me dream away.

Great review! It’s awesome to hear how L.A. Florrie managed to weave romance, comedy, and even a little tragedy into her memoir of adventures around Europe. I can imagine how entertaining it must have been to follow along with her and her friends on this wild journey. I also appreciate your note on the book being well-edited despite a few errors. This sounds like a perfect pick for anyone who enjoys travel stories or memoirs.

To be honest, I don't like this and, in my opinion, it is not ironic or humorous to name a book in such a custom. Therefore, the title is quite a turn-off for me and the content of the book also isn't all that appealing. Apologies, I will have to pass this book, but still congratulations on BOTD!
