This is my type of past-time read that I can enjoy and complete in no time. All you had to tell me was this was about friends going on a trip that will be full of fun and great memories and I'm already in. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

:techie-studyinggray: :tiphat: The way in which the author narrates her experience with her friends is one of the strong points, since it makes the story close, entertaining and inspiring. It is definitely a read for those who enjoy memoirs, travel books or simply looking for inspiration to start a business.

I love adventure books. I haven't read many travel books so I might just have to give this one a go.

This sounds like an interesting read. I like how these three friends' journeys were documented to give others a glimpse of their adventure. It's great to see different countries through others' perspectives; this way, you gain general knowledge about the country, their food, and the author's personal experience during these trips. This would be perfect for a day when you feel bored and want something to transport your mind from the present into a leisurely escape. Thank you for the interesting write-up, and congratulations to the author on being selected BOTD.

Thank you for your great review. I enjoyed your questions. They sound like a very interesting conglomeration of personalities! I do like memoirs, especially those that are honest with lots of emotions. How exciting and a little scary to go off for six months and live out a fantasy. I have added it to my list of books to read.

A six months' tour through Europe certainly allows for a lot of places to be seen and experienced. It's good that it's a balanced account, not only all the spectacular highlights. Thank you for your informative review.

Memoirs are so fun to read, especially ones like this, and L.A. Florrie's writing seems to bring out the best in it too, based on the reviews. This memoir about three friends resolving to take a six-month tour across all of Europe sounds captivating. My To-Read list is sadly overflowing, but I definitely need to make space for this, as I’m already impressed. Congrats on BOTD! This is a wonderful review, by the way!

I enjoyed the storyline, the point of views, the way the characters were described and came to life. The way the author was able to set up the scene and hold the readers interests shows how artfully skilled the writer is.

The characters all have very different lives, some being married with children, in off-and-on again relationships, and one being single. However their friendship shows loyalty to each other despite their differences in life.

Although I don't read memoirs, I believe this book will be a fun read. L.A Florrie writes about her and her friends' trip round Europe, and it will be fun to read about the countries they visited and their experiences and adventures.
