Ebook readers: Do you use the highlight or bookmark?

Maybe not for the intended purpose... I highlight writing issues that are happening over and over and starting to get on my nerves, usually shortly before moving it to my "Did not finish" collection. Repetitive words or sentence structure, parts where the writing style and mood don't fit the scene, overusing adverbs and adjectives, that kind of thing. Although I'm using it more recently to keep track of parts to use for reviews, too.

I definitely use both! Highlighting helps me save key points I want to revisit, and bookmarks are perfect for keeping my place, especially when I'm juggling multiple books. It’s super convenient!

I use the highlighting option a lot. Whether its because i loved a particular sentence or there was a mistake that I want to come back to later. I also love how after you highlight you can add your own notes in to whatever it was that you highlighted! Such fun features.

I normally use highlighter because it is easy to go back for reference later when i need it

I use them a lot! Especially when doing the reviews because it helps to keep track of grammar errors or profanity or the kind of stuff that we have to be aware of. I also highlight and leave notes sometimes. I found that is very convenient.
But also I usually highlight in my physical books whenever I come across a sentence that resonates with me, so I do the same in the e-books, although it is a little less satisfying.

Yes I do use the highlighting and bookmark feature of an e-book. This is a good helpful tool specifically if you are a book reviewer or beta reader. Sometimes in that role, you would be asked to find sentences that needed correction or are not constructed in the appropriate language/grammar and using the highlighter and bookmark will facilitate the process.
