The word that can adequately describe this book is "weird". From the title, to the cover, to the actual story; everything is weird, but in a good way. I'm slowly getting to know the characters and the moral of the story. The reviewer wrote about the guide at the back, so I went to check it out, and I'm stunned! I've never read such a weird yet satisfying book before.

It seems that the book raises awareness of contemporary and pertinent issues. The science fiction themes woven throughout, along with the format in which they are presented, seem to be an attempt to connect with younger generations.

Graphic novels are not my thing, so I'm not the right person for this book. However, from what I could see on the sample, the graphics are very nicely done, and the story seems to have a lot going for it. My guess is that readers who enjoy this type of presentation will truly enjoy it. Congrats to the authors.

'This science fiction novel takes situations that we face on a daily basis and turns them into a story. We encounter daily situations such as blindly following influencers on social media platforms, potentially harmful diet products, obesity, addiction, and addiction-induced violence.'
I'm curious to know what mundane activities were turned into a story in this book.

The topics discussed seemed to be of sensitive nature, especially addiction. To learn that fused all these elements with the narrative is a win because it means the books doesn't sound preachy but good to read. I am glad when you didn't find anything to dislike about it.

Today's book of the day is a science fiction book that narrates our daily lives, especially in connection with how social media influences potentially harmful diet products, obesity, addiction, and addiction-induced violence. Very educational and a great book indeed. Congrats on #BOTD!

Based on the review of *The Dark Side of Food*, it sounds like the novel offers an interesting fusion of science fiction and relevant social commentary. I appreciate how the reviewer highlighted the connection between real-world issues—such as obesity, addiction, and social media influence—and the novel's plot. The inclusion of a billionaire scientist and a group of students investigating the Aurora Borealis adds a compelling layer of mystery. It's great to hear that the book was able to seamlessly incorporate these themes into the narrative, especially while maintaining the engaging format of a comic strip. The perfect rating and mention of flawless editing are strong endorsements, making this book sound like an entertaining yet thought-provoking read. I’m intrigued by the role of Sol-ace and RUDI in the story, and it seems like the unresolved questions in the plot are intentional, motivating readers to continue with the series. This review certainly piqued my interest in both the storyline and the larger themes at play.

I didn't realize this was a comic novel and that makes it even better. Topics like obesity, diet and other topics included in the book will be much more fun while getting to learn more on these. Congratulations on BOTD!

Enjoyable review. I have never read a graphic novel before, but this one sounds intriquing. I'll put it aside and possible read it at a later date.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. With all of the various and great topics, I'm sure many will enjoy this book along with it being a graphic novel. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of graphic novels or science fiction, so I'm a poor choice for this book.

This is very interesting. A graphic novel that entertain and educate people is promising, draws awareness to real-world issues. I appreciate the authors' advice of how to lead a healthier life. The plot combination seems unique and well-executed. Thank you for sharing your enthusiastic review.
