How do you start writing?

I've recently discovered that one of the biggest issues with young and inexperienced aspiring writers is writing the first chapter, or paragraph, or sentence, or even the first word! Whether it's writing a script, a song, a short story or a novel, it's always so difficult to just get started!
So here I am, asking all of you, whether you be experienced or inexperienced, young or old... How do you start writing something? Where do you get your ideas from and your inspiration? How do you avoid creating something too similar from somebody else's work? And, most importantly, how do you usually start off your writing piece? Do you start with a dramatic and exciting introduction? or maybe something more subtle and intriguing?

There is a big round button on the front of my computer. I push it, and then the magic happens.


But seriously. Starting isn't the hard part. If the idea is there and you feel strongly about it, starting is easy. I have many ideas, and am itching to get started on them. The harder part comes with deciding how you want the idea to play out, and actually writing it out in the final form. Even then, it's mainly just a matter of doing it. Keep building the idea, and you will get there.
Don't think you have to be totally original, or clever, with your opening. Open with whatever is appropriate to your idea. (My opening line was there from the start, because I knew what the opening scene was going to be)
