The book claims that life exists for a specific purpose: love. The chapter “God is All-Loving” references numerous studies on the sources of human happiness to support the claim that love is the purpose of life (summary available here: https://ygodallowsevil.com/love-2). What are your thoughts on this argument?

Deep, meaningful connections tend to matter more in the end than pursuing achievement, status, or financial possessions, even if it's easy to get caught up in those pursuits. However, it's the connection between love and the potential for evil that really got me thinking.
It's such a paradox that we need to be free to choose in order for love to exist, which implies that making a bad decision is always a possibility. It gives the impression that love is a very frail yet priceless object.
