Re: Review of Orinthia

The content of this book sounds a bit disturbing to me, not only because it revolves around mental health issues, but described testing made it look like people have been reduced to the level of laboratory rats and actually are going to take part in something more sinister, like the Stanford prison experiment. I am doubtful and undecided if I should read it, but still congrats on BOTD!

The review provided valuable insights. The book presents an intriguing concept, exploring the testing of a one-of-a-kind pill on individuals with mental disorders. I'm eager to dive in and discover what lies ahead for Orinthia and the others.

I'm keen to read this book as I'm intrigued by the storyline, but I feel like you gave a considerable spolier in the middle of your review, which basically tells the ending. I hope I'm wrong and it's not that significant.

The idea of a pill promising to cure mental disorders, only for people to become test subjects without realizing it, is intriguing and thought-provoking. It makes me wonder about the ethics of new medical treatments and how often people are unknowingly part of risky experiments.

I found the second part of review a bit confusing because is it a story about the four people and Orinthia, or a Orinthia's story intertwined with the others'? I like that the plot is clearly outlined and there is a description of what to expect regarding the motions the characters go through.

The book pushes back against the nature of consciousness, the power of the mind, and what the consequences of our technology may be.

Orinthia addresses mental health through characters drawn into a deceptive cure trial. Orinthia was brave and had an imaginative spirit.

Orinthia and a few others fall victim to a poster that promises a free cure to mental disorders. Unfortunately, they are experiments for this new drug. Will it help them, or will they face adverse side effects of the drug? The characters are well-designed.

From this great review, the book talks about how mental issues can manifest in different ways. I liked the part that people were being used in testing a new drug for mental treatment without them being aware ,which is against the law ,I would like to know what happened next . I always liked the character Orinthia cause she's what most of us go through. I'm so curious to know if the drug worked ,so I'm going to read the book.

Thank you for sharing your experience reading this book! It’s wonderful to hear how Orinthia’s character resonated with you, especially her struggles with anxiety and trust. The themes of love, family, and bravery are central to the narrative, and it’s gratifying that the author’s creativity kept you engaged throughout. Your reflections on the impact of flaws in relationships add depth to the discussion. Orinthia’s journey, particularly her imaginative coping mechanisms and resilience in the face of grief, highlights the complexity of human emotions. It’s inspiring to see readers connect so deeply with characters who embody both strength and vulnerability. Your recommendation for others to read this book is appreciated; it underscores its potential to inspire self-reflection and understanding in a broader context.

"Orinthia" seems like a very engrossing book. If you have mental disorder issues, you will be desperate to look for a cure, and I don't blame Orinthia and others for falling into the trap of a free cure for mental disorders, not knowing they want to be used as test subjects. Congratulations on BOTD!
