Winnick's novel offers a thought-provoking exploration of modern terrorism, enriched by historical context. Lara and Uri’s relationship enhance the tension and emotional depth of the story. Congrats on BOTD.

Jack Winnick is such an exciting author, and this book in the Uri and Lara series strongly backs up my statement! It begins with a brutal massacre that leaves five children dead at a Jewish preschool in an upscale California suburb, an attack linked to Arab terrorists. Uri and Lara must work together to solve it. The book has an exciting premise, and from the sample, the author’s writing is splendid—it’s a truly intense read! Huge congrats on BOTD :tiphat: ! Great review too!

"Devil in False Colors" by Jack Winnick is an interesting book and equally very educative as it teaches you about the politics and history of the Middle East. Congratulations on being BOTD.

I love how the review gives a disclaimer on the political elements and how they may displease some readers . From the massacre in the first chapter, the writing got me . Looking forward to reading more

Winnick's adept portrayal of characters, particularly the fiercely independent and capable FBI agents Lara and Uri, adds depth to the narrative. The book skillfully addresses issues like religious-motivated terrorism, Iran's nuclear threat, and Russia's complex role in the plot, providing an enjoyable thriller with international affairs woven into its fabric. Nice review.

I have enjoyed reading this review and look forward to reading the book ,I have always be fascinated by writings about terrorism and the mindset behind it . I like that the book is Fast paced and a thriller but dislike the fact that young children died at the beginning of the book.

The author have done extensive research relating to the formation of religious groups that attract young naive boys to perform hate killings. It's is a sad and evil situation in our modern world. We are going to have to teach love and peace to our young kids before they encounter with evil people in the world. It's a good investigation storyline.

The mix of suspense, real-world political themes, and dynamic characters in Devil in False Colors sounds gripping. On top of that, the inclusion of complex issues like terrorism and international tensions, has gained my interest in the book.

Thank you for your review.
Indeed it is a good book, you can't put it down for a rest.
Thrilling, captivating and so fresh with the actuality of our crazy world days we are living in.
Has a good flow and does not bore you with details or strict "English".

A terrorist act against preschoolers because their parents are wealthy Jews in the Los Angeles area is the sort of reprehensible act we've come to expect of Arab-speaking terrorists. I read the sample, and Lara and Uri getting back together sounds like a strong possibility too. I like that Uri is a Mossad assassin; it makes him sound intriguing and dangerous. It should be a good read. It has all the right elements.
