I love having an e-book reader as its great for travel and you can often download ebooks for a lot cheaper than regular books. You can also find books you want right away most of the time.

Totally agree
We bought two Kindles for our family. I have newer Paper White and my DW has an older model one. We have collected about 3000+ books for the kindle. Many of my DW favorites (like Agatha Christie) are available for the Kindle

I think it is a good thing to have an eBook reader or a tablet that can help you carry your reading material wherever you go

It depends on your lifestyle. If you tend to read on the go then go ahead and purchase one.

I think getting an e-reader is one of the best investments a reader can make. It has saved me tons of time and money.

I think its great. yes, I love physical books and audiobooks but I like to have my e-reader for the road. You can even put documents and PDFs on there for easy reading. I also have KU which only costs $11 a month which is just one book a month to get your money's worth. I read about 5-10 books on ku a month so it pays for itself but even if you don't go that route there are still a lot of positives like e-reader sharing or having a gifting list for the holidays for people to gift you eBooks as well.

Unless is for study purposes I will always recommend an ereader for the practicality.

My wife absolutely loves her kindle. She has one of those that is supposed to be just like reading on paper and claims her eyes feel better when she reads it.

What I like e-readers for is just convenience, so for me the best e-reader is whatever works best on my phone.
