Some people who have been adopted feel a void in their lives and that is why they want to meet their biological family. Sometimes these experiences are disappointing and sometimes very fruitful. This book, Finding Closure, develops an autobiography of the author that tells a story of this type.

This book will resonate to many readers who are in the author’s shoes as Rosie Norman-Neubauer embarks on a journey to know her birth family after being adopted as an infant. I commend her for sharing her experience

Rosie Norman-Neubauer's "Finding Closure" is a real life emotional identity-search-account of a middle-aged woman.
What an experience!
I can't but wonder at the story behind the compound surname and I look forward to reading the book for clarity.
Congratulations on being BOTD.
Excellent evaluation.

Thank you for your review. I read the sample. The author embarks on a journey for her biological family. It was sad how the author longed from childhood to know her biological mother, and no one recognized this and didn't help her. Her story of her journey will help others start their journey. Congrats for the #BOTD.

Norman-Neubauer's story shows that, through openness and empathy, even the most fractured relationships can heal and find peace.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm glad you enjoyed it and the book was edited so well. I have known persons who were adopted, and sometimes looking for their birth parents worked out well and sometimes not. Letting go of dreams and what you imagined people would be like is very difficult. I do like memoirs though. I have added this to my list of books to read.

Sounds like it will be a favourite of those who like stories about familial separation, finding birth parents, and quests for identity. Read it to see how it enriches established conventions.
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

We all struggle to find out who we are. Part of the answer originates where we came from. For those who were adopted, the nagging question of where they came from necessitates finding the answer and peace. This story will provide hope for those who have not yet found the answer.

"Finding Closure" captures the heartache and courage of reconnecting with one’s roots after adoption. Norman-Neubauer’s deeply personal memoir is both raw and hopeful, blending emotional depth with seamless storytelling. It resonates with adoptees and anyone touched by family separations, offering insight, shared experiences, and inspiration. A truly moving read.

An emotional narrative about identification, self-discovery, and reconnecting. Norman-Neubauer, who was adopted at birth, talks about her search for her birth family and the answers to the questions she has had all her life. Congrats on BOTD.
