The depth of this book really stood out to me. The author did a great job making the characters’ feelings come to life. Some parts felt predictable, but I was still invested throughout.

Time for PsyQ by Marti Ward is a captivating science fiction novel that blends adventure, friendship, and the discovery of hidden powers. Centered around eleven-year-old Airlie Sanderson, who gains extraordinary abilities after receiving a cat named Sooty, the story follows her and her friends as they navigate their new reality. When her friend Kate is kidnapped, Airlie's powers are pushed to their limits. Although it may seem geared toward a younger audience, adult readers will find this tale just as intriguing, filled with suspense and heartwarming moments of bravery and loyalty.
