Re: Have you ever read while taking a bath?

Post by Lady_Delish »

Yes, but only once, years ago. I was in a hotel room with a tub in the bath. So I took the book with me in the tub. It was fun and relaxing, but I am wildly surprised that I didn't dropped it into the water - after all it was very heavy. That was one of my favorite books, so there would have been a lot of tears if I've ruined it. Therefore I haven't done this again.

I do it quite often. I am a new mother and it seems to be the only time I can get away to do so!

No, seems like it would be quite uncomfortable. Besides, I take showers, not baths. Can't remember the last time I took a bath. Years, I suppose.

Listen to audio books.

Listening to audio books you can also do in the shower, so it works out well.

I never have, with my luck I would drop the book in the tub. What we need are waterproof books
Crap happens; it's inevitable, it's a part of life. You can't let it destroy though, you learn to be stronger and wiser through the crappy things that happen.

Strangely enough I haven't. I'd imagine it'd be relaxing but in the bath you get wet right? I'd hate to slip and drop the book. It's something I'd never be able to forgive myself for.

Yes, I use to do it all the time. For me it was quite and relaxing and the only time I had to myself. :) However, I did have a few mishaps when the book I was reading fell in the tub and got soaked! That was never fun but at least it was not a library book. :!:
