It is quite heartbreaking when one finds themselves in the hands of an abusive mate. I really feel for Ruth. I will read the book and have a mental share through her journey. I hope to learn some vital lessons from the way she coped in an abusive marriage and how she overcome the abusive relationship.

This is definitely something I would read. As a survivor of mental, physical and emotional abuse, I would like to learn if her and my situation were the same or if there are differences. Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD and thanks for the free book.

"Room Without Walls: A Transformational Journey" by Ruth Ferguson is a memoir of the emotional abuse Ruth suffered from her husband and how she lived through the ordeals. Ruth turned her personal struggle into a source of strength as she transformed her life. This book can be used as a guide for readers suffering abuse to become resilient and heal their scars. Ruth not only detailed her own story of abuse but also provided practical ways for others to handle similar situations. Sadly, mental and physical abuse have become too common in our society. Men that commit sexual assault go free because of good attorneys or they are shielded by ridiculous laws. The victims of abuse carry scars for the rest of their lives. So many women are ashamed and afraid to go to the police so they continue to endure the abuse. A tough story to read but is should help readers become aware of friends and relatives that are being abused. Put your faith in God and pray that the abusers suffer on or before judgement day.

What a remarkable review. The subject matter is very moving. So many people find it so difficult to get out of abusive relationships indeed and being there to observe it is heartbreaking. I am sure this book will shed light and rescue so many people are who could be fortunate to read it.

Ruth's marriage was an emotionally abusive one. Most of the victims cannot recognize the abuse. It's courageous and encouraging for the reader to read about her journey. The author provides steps to get out of an abusive relationship.

Upon sampling “Without Walls: A Transformational Journey” and reading this review, I am certainly adding the book to my ‘Interested in Reading’ shelf. Emotional abuse is unfortunately prevalent in society, all over the world, and this story is touching, truly captivating and informing readers on how to cope and even thrive in life after abuse. Great review!

Ruth's story is very touching and full of painful moments. I know that it must not have been easy for her to remember and share some of her experiences for this book. This book can provide help and support to those experiencing domestic violence.

Hi @Huini Hellen, I just read your comments on the official review of "Room Without Walls: A Transformational Journey" and I agree it was a very emotional story. Since this was Ruth's memoir about the abuse she received from her husband it was very detailed and at times hard to read because of the suffering. @Mrlefty0706

This seems like a very emotional book. It's very heartbreaking that Ruth got emotionally abused by her husband. I'm very curious to find out how she dealt with it.
