"Healing from Growing Up with a Narcissistic Parent" by Kelly Todd appears to be a good fit for me, as I'm always interested in learning about the effects of trauma and traits that cause it. I'm also curious to read about the narcissistic wife and mother who caused her husband to tragically take his own life.

Narcissism is a buzzword today, and I'm glad that the book starts by explaining what it is for better understanding, which is important for the reader. Thank you for the review.

Children who have narcissistic parents really suffer emotionally as they are not shown the love they need. I am really interested to finish reading this book. The author has done a great job to write about this sensitive topic. Congratulations on being the BOTD!

This book addresses a topic that I haven't seen yet in other books, a narcissistic parent raising children. What are the wounds inflicted on a child living with a narcissistic parent? Is there a way to heal from such pain? Can narcissistic parents recognize that they are trapped in narcissism and are hurting their loved ones?

I am looking forward to potentially reading this book. As a survivor of a narcissistic parent, I have struggled my entire life with my self-worth and mental health. Thanks to therapy, I am slowly starting to unlearn difficult and harmful patterns that have been with me since I was young. I feel this book would be a helpful addition to my therapeutic work.

Non fiction books are not my cup of tea but the topic is really very sensitive. I appreciate the author's teaching how to recognise the narcissism and also how to acknowledge your pain along with steps to rebuild your self-esteem. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

A great novel articulating Narcissism. A very emotional story and emotional encounter for that matter. Involving a child Vs a Parent makes the book interesting as I am anxious to learn how Kelly Todd handled it. Congratulations book of the day.

The first place you need love and caring is from a parent, and I can't imagine how much it would hurt if a person you look up to is a narcissist. I know the book will change many who have had terrible childhoods. Nice review.
