I received my book 2 days ago and jumped right in, reading it. The first 5 chapters were online so I already was familiar with the story. It's very good - the kind of book that I don't want to stop reading.

I’m currently reading the fourth book in The Plated Prisoner series, Gold.
I started the series for a book club at the beginning of the year, and even though we only read the first one for the club, I was hooked! I love the originality and how relatable the main character is.
I’m also about a third of the way through A Court of Silver Flames… and have been for about 3 or 4 months now
The birth of my first baby has slowed down my reading a tad, but I’m still trudging!

Okay, I'm working on a code cracker and reading the numbers trying to guess which letter goes where. Truly as a teacher I'm on school holidays and reading is on the back burner for a few weeks.

I joined this org in 2018, in which I would've been 16 or 17. Going back now, I don't know where to start, honestly. Amidst finding myself and figuring out what I want and don't want, I realized that I actually lost my sense of self instead so I wanted to come back to my past hobbies. I used to label myself a bookworm.
I'm reading a book called Wabi Sabi by Beth Kempton which de-influences me from the new world's obsession on non-stop hustling and tells me to just stop for a while. Slow down. Attune one's self to nature and detach from material possessions. It's a refreshing point of view. I feel like since I started this book, I've been able to breathe.

Hi, I just finished my first book by this author 'Tress of the Emerald Sea". I enjoyed it a lot and I think I'll try the next one in the series.Alicia Howell-Munson wrote: ↑19 Dec 2024, 09:00 I'm about to start reading Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson. It's around 1,300 pages and my friend challenged me to try and finish it within 24 hoursI've set aside all of Sunday for this where I'm going to go to a local cafe and then a whiskey bar so that I can't distract myself with things at home.
