Thought provoking review of" An Incomplete Theory" by Megan Henry. "This book under discussion offers this kind of quest not only from the perspective of science but in a more general philosophical search into the nature of the cosmos." learning is continuous process, just got my copy and cant wait to delve in the book. Thank you for the review!

Thank you for the helpful review! I recently read a book by Neil DeGrasse Tyson that took a similar approach...explaining complicated principals in words a non-scientist could understand. I also like that you mentioned there's a philosophical aspect to the book in addition to the scientific angle. Thank you for sharing this!

I enjoyed your review! This is not a genre that I would normally read. I was never into philosophy or science, so I will pass on this one. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book.

Physics is something way beyond my understanding, I just don't have that kind of mind. But the review is good, and I'm sure the book will find its reader being written in a simple language and covering the topics in history, philosophy and physics. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

It sounds like a great book, but I think it would go over my head. I love the book cover, though.

"An incomplete theory" quite intriguing. I am not quite interested in science, but I would give this particular book a chance. I feel Meghan took a different tone when writing the book. It has rhythm to compared to the many books written that are about science.

I had no idea a new approach to the theory of gravity was needed! How fascinating! The fact that this book is written in laymen's terms is a blessing for people like me who are intrigued by such scientific ideas but are unfamiliar with the lingo. Congratulations on BOTD!

Although I have never felt any attraction or interest toward physics, this book sounds appealing: understanding the history about the formulation of a theory of quantum gravities. Without a doubt, I would give this book a read, hoping to grasp something about the world of physics.

Philosophy and Science on a personal narrative of the author. One theory after the other Megan Henry gives a historical background of the popular science theories such as the quantum gravity theory. Science fanatics will totally enjoy this one.

I really enjoyed this view. This book sounds very interesting, although probably beyond my comprehension. I would be interested in reading it to see if the author is able to convey the information in a way I might be able to understand.
