This book tackles profound theological questions about evil, suffering, and God's nature, presenting a well-reasoned argument that prioritizes love as the foundation of God's actions. The book's unique blend of philosophical, scientific, and scriptural insights provides a refreshing and thought-provoking perspective for Christians seeking a deeper understanding of these complex topics. Nice review.

God is love and God is just. The author of this book tries to explain that God prioritizes love over justice in his dealings with men.

I find it interesting how the author approaches the problem of evil from a Christian perspective, though some ideas conflict with my agnostic views. I'm reading the book to better understand the mindset of believers and their foundations. The reference to sacrifice as a way to understand love made me reflect, and I'm intrigued by how it ties into scientific theories like determinism. While I may not agree with everything, I appreciate the author's deep approach and the resources used to support their points.

I appreciate your review. I like how you discussed the book's address to the problem of evil especially the question of why a loving and all-powerful God allows suffering. It's a very relevant topic to me personally. Among other likes you mentioned about this book, I like how you highlighted the author's meaningful perspectives such as the foundations of happiness being love and friendship, evil resulting from rejection of love.

What is evil? If God is love, all powerful, and all knowing why do good people actually suffer? You might have asked this question once in your life, if you want to gain a deeper understanding you should grab a copy of this book. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

I'm not normally a fan of Christian nonfiction but I am intrigued by this author's explanation of why there's suffering in the world if God is love and omnipotent. I have my own understanding but I'd like to hear his view on why so much evil in the world. This seems like an interesting book. I'd love to read.

Many believe that if God is so loving and so powerful, why doesn't He simply extinguish evil and pain and suffering altogether? This book tries to explain these situations, it goes further into the concept of timeless love and how the advent of time became the root cause of evil. A good read.

The last book I read and completed today was “The Advent of Time” by Indignus Servus examines the problem of suffering in a world created by an all-loving and all-powerful God. The book thoroughly covers the subjects of pain and free will.

Atheists do not believe in God for a number of reasons including why would God allow people to suffer on Earth? Why are people born with handicaps? Why do people suffer and die from diseases?

Some people believe that suffering in some creates spiritual growth in others. Being a devout Catholic I do believe in an all-loving God and the existence of Heaven. We are given free will to decide how we live our lives. I do believe that evil exists because Satan is active on Earth and he helps create evil.

This is a very thought-provoking book that should be read by Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and other religions that all believe in God. Atheists would also benefit from reading this book and some may come back to believing in God. The book is only 159 pages so it can be read in a few sittings. I highly recommend this book and give it a 5 out of 5 star rating.

Indignus Servus wrote a perception and justification relating to suffering. The review is engaging and shows how blame is justified. The human mind seems always to seek a reason to blame and step away from unconditional love. We were all given the gift of choice and have no idea of any cause outside of ourselves. The review touches on aspects of wonder, blame, justification, and interest. Thank you for the review
