This is actually the first book I'm seeing, and hopefully will be reading, about an in-depth analysis of alchemy. This seems very interesting, especially because the author also explores their interconnectedness with Hermeticism and Christian theosophy.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

I was absolutely captivated by how Kiritsis seamlessly blends historical fact with the more esoteric and symbolic aspects of alchemy. It wasn't just a dry recitation of dates and names; he really brought the historical context to life, making me feel like I was stepping back in time and witnessing the evolution of alchemical thought firsthand.

The explanation of the historical, philosophical and psychological interpretation of alchemical symbols by Carl Jung has been brought out in this review. The book is easy to understand as the author knows the choice of words, and the research is done in detail. Every aspect of this book is seen in this review, and somebody who has read this review, like me, has the thirst to search for the book and read it, and of course, I did that; it's an interesting book, and this review explains this in detail.

I would have peg this book as a fantasy book. However, it seems like the books deals with realistic subject matters that can be understood when the book is read.

This sounds like a well-crafted book that the author did lots of research for. Unfortunately, I'm not into complex reading material that's foreign to my usual action-packed novels I usually read. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.
