Profound Secrets of Jesus and His Inner Circle by Patrick B.Cage gives us a new look on how to view Christian core values in regards to Jesus' life. This book touches on Jesus's arrest, crucification, and resurrection, and provides us with details that we didn't know about. This book tells us the important roles of women, especially Mary Magdalene, in Jesus's life and His ministry. This book uses historical evidences to prove about Jesus's miracles, which include raising people from the dead. Paul is also talked about and how he converted to christianity. This book offers encouragement on faith and women empowerment. Again, the book tries to prove that the miracles performed by Jesus were real based on history.

I enjoyed reading this book as it focuses on very crucial Biblical issues pertaining to Jesus' life and miracles. The provision of Biblical contexts to prove the authenticity of the miracles was exceptionally done by the author. I liked how the book mentioned the important roles of women around Jesus's life. The book tried to challenge me as a reader by providing fresh perspectives on Jesus's arrest, crucification, and resurrection. The author has also tried to challenge us to accept our faith rather than accept the traditional interpretations without questioning them.

However, I noted some negative aspects while reading this book. The author’s conclusions might have theological impacts that may not be accepted by all Christian denominations. Moreover, there is also a risk that conservative Christians might react negatively to this book. Overall, this book was an amazing read, and I found it to be incredibly transparent. Following the drawbacks I have mentioned above, I therefore rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. This book was professionally well-edited without any errors. I want to recommend this book to individuals who are interested in deepening their understanding of Christianity beyond traditional Christian teachings.

The focus on Mary Magdalene and the roles of women in Jesus’ ministry stands out to me, as it show a perspective that is often overlooked in traditional teachings. I’m also intrigued by how the book uses historical evidence to examine Jesus miracles and challenges readers to rethink their faith. I’d consider reading it to explore these fresh perspectives,
