I think the book's cover is catchy but I'm not sure it gives a hint on what to expect in the book. I think the book's title serves it better.

The cover is catchy, and it seems to reflect some of the themes explored in the book, such as Greek mythology. The butterfly-headed woman also feels supernatural. The open and closed doors with darkness behind them seem to symbolise the unknown, and their low height relative to the female's height is suggestive of the human ability to prevail over the unknown. However, I would personally prefer the cover to be more magical and alchemic, more Harry-Potterish perhaps.

The cover serves its purposes. A cover is supposed to pull readers in while giving them a hint of what to expect in the book. This cover is exactly that! The mystery element of the cover align with the theme of the book, too. So I would definitely read this book based on the cover itself.
