It's amazing that the Naval Academy Class of 1957 has shaken the entire world in such a way. That makes every story interesting. Also, the writing style seems to be a positive aspect. The book looks very appealing for lovers of historical memoirs.

Short stories are quite interesting, especially when they carry light feeling to it. I will follow through the stories of James' classmates from 1957 and get to learn about each of their lives and adventure. I'm adding the book to my want to read shelf.

Congrats on BOTD!
James D. Paulk Jr.'s nonfiction book, Shaking Up the World, pertains to a set of stories from the Naval Academy Class of 1957. Throughout their four years at Annapolis, they shaped their lives in both uniform and civilian roles, contributing their unique stories as classmates.

What a great idea for an anthology! Not only because this is an exceptional group of young people but also because it is a reminder of the connections that shape our character when we are young. Thank you for your review.

Stories connect people, stories also unite. This book is a way of keeping memories that was shared alive, that great journey that started in the year 1957 at a Naval academy and what has become of these individuals. This kind of story is fun to tell.

It's amazing that many of the author's classmates went on to achieve great things, like being presidents, etc. Shaking Up the World: Stories of the Naval Academy Class of 1957 by James D. Paulk sounds like an enriching read!

I am an ardent reader of history literature and a historical memoir is definitely a book that will be going to the top of my want-to-read shelf. I am glad that even though the book touches on a serious topic like war, the discussion makes the book gripping. The fact that the arrangement is done logically also makes this a must-read.
Many thanks for the review. :tiphat: :tiphat: :tiphat: :tiphat:

From time to time I enjoy a historical novel that reveals people's lives and this book sounds truly fascinating as the author shares stories that tell the story of his classmates. Will add to my tbr shelf.

I love the idea of a book with stories about each classmate, it makes me wonder where my classmates ended up. I am sure to recognise some names of the class of '57 of the Naval Academy, if there are so many who have accomplished so much after graduation.

The people from this graduating class do seem to have had a positive impact on the rest of us. I wonder if this is just coincidence or if attending the Naval Academy has something to do with it.
