The author wrote stories of his classmates from Naval Academy. It's interesting to learn about each individual's accomplishments. The stories are light hearted at times and some are about war.

From the review, the book sounds very intriguing. It's mind-blowing that from one batch, we got a president, an astronaut and so many influential people. This is really exciting and pique my interest to read the book. Also I love to read about historical themes, so I'm looking forward to reading the book.

Nice review! It's really something how so many from just one class accomplished so much. They were a great group of men!

Thank you for the informative review. I really enjoyed the descriptions of this review and it makes me interested in this book. Normally, I'm not drawn to historical non-fiction, but my grandfather was in the Navy in the 1960s and I think it would be very interesting to read about the people who served and what they accomplished.

It's amazing that the author's classmates could remember so much, despite their age. Young readers especially could learn things from these classmates who have become successful, as I'm sure they all came from various backgrounds. Thanks for the review!

Shaking Up The World by James D. Paulk Jr. is a historical memoir about the author's classmates. I see it as an appreciative work that recognizes the much-needed heroes who did not make it to the spotlight.
