The title sounds misleading. Seems like a great book. I wonder if it's hilarious.

I can relate to the author being raised by different people during his upbringing, as I have this experience as well.

We are all seeking our purpose in life and often time you will go through twists and turns to find your path. For the author, this was him joining the Army.

I can also, empathize with Simone feeling like an outcast with the author's friendship with his Army mates. It can be challenging when your partner seems to gel more with their friends than with you. It also didn't help that Josh and Lisa (the author's friends) also didn't share common interests with Simone.

This book seems like a great read for those looking for inspiration in their own lives.

It’s interesting that Thomas and his friends smoke weed and read The Bible. I suppose there’s nothing in The Bible that goes against smoking weed.

Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book and it was edited so well. I also liked the author's style of writing and his honesty throughout the sample. I don't believe this is a book for me, but I hope that many others will give the book a chance.

Thank you for your review. I read the sample. Thomas had a harrowing childhood. She called his grandma "Mom." There was no father; his mother left him to "find herself." He brought himself up. With the support of a few friends, the church, and his girlfriend, he somehow made it through and chose to serve our country. I want to read the rest of the book.

Memoir of a Deserter by Thomas Foster seems like a great read for fans of memoirs. I wonder how the author fared in the army. Unfortunately, I don't read nonfiction, so I'll be skipping this book.

Memoir of a Deserter by Thomas Foster is a book that focuses on the author's life. The author tells readers about the story of his birth and his childhood. He was raised by different people who taught him various things. Foster also mentions how his life was in high school and how he was addicted to weed.

Foster describes his experience of moving back to Galveston, Texas and starting a new life with his partner, Simone. He gets a job at the same insurance company as Simone but finds the work unfulfilling and is fired. The author then realizes that he needs to make a change in his life and joins the Army.

I like his friendship with Josh and Lisa and how they enjoyed spending time on the Seawall, where they would smoke, read the Bible, and pray together. I can understand why Simone was threatened by Foster's friendship with Josh and Lisa. She didn't like that they didn't share her interests, such as watching TV. She wanted attention from her partner, which is natural. I love how loyal Simone was to him, and I like that he didn't take her for granted.

I found no errors while reading the book, showing it was exceptionally well edited. I found no dislikes while reading this book. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The author's writing style was engrossing. He also added an element of humor. He also pays attention to detail and follows the story chronologically.

Overall, this book is about the author's journey of self-discovery and his search for a place in the world. The author eventually realizes that he needs to make a change in his life and joins the Army. It is a significant step for the author, as it shows that he is willing to take risks and pursue his own path. Grab a copy to find out how his journey in the Army went. I recommend this book to people looking for their way in life. It will inspire them.

This review is very basic, based on the preview I read the review seems accurate, but doesn't really grab my attention, at most I would say this review is informative, which I suppose is the most important aspect of a review. I personally enjoy reviews that grab my attention and really want to make me read the book.
