Diana, you really know how to let one down gently. It is so nice of you to let Maria know that her answer, though wrong, was a great one. Sort of like telling someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the journey. :consoling-smiley:

A hint would be greatly appreciated at this point. :shifty:

The first clue comes from a joke about a road sign.

A horn? But that is, indeed, an animal, isn't it?

Is the second clue specific to cell phones as opposed to phones of all varieties? As I do not use a cell phone I may not be able to relate to that clue.

WOW! no cell phone? how impressive! I don’t think a landline phone would perform this function.

Another Clue
Even though they all sound
alike . . .
The first answer has a one letter article followed by a four letter word.
The second answer has a two letter article followed by a five letter word.
The third answer starts with the verb ‘be.”

I can think of "be alert"(while driving) and "an alert" (on your phone) but I don't know how to fit the animal clue in there

You are correct! The old road signs used to say “Be alert” and there are tshirts that say, “Be a lert. The world needs more of them.”
