I just read a sample of the first story and I found it really captivating. The book is already on my shelf, and I look forward to reading it soon. I am glad, indeed, that one of the lessons is on human gullibility. There is so much that one will learn from the book.
Many thanks for the amazing review, @Kajori Sheryl Paul.

I love James Hanna's irreverence. I know his take on modern life will be both outrageous and thought-provoking. And even if he called me a "failed writer," I think "The Land Fish" is brilliant. I can't wait to read the rest of the stories. Thank you for your review.

I think twenty two stories though short is a lot. But since its about the author's life adventures, it could be fun writing them. Though the stories are funny, they are thought provoking and so the author has held the attention of his readers whilst imparting lessons.

It's been a while, I haven't read any short story collection. This one is going to my reading list. I would love exploring various shades of life as discussed in this review. Capturing the essence of life and making things humorous while keeping the gravity of the topic is really a difficult task. I would love reading this book soon.

A collection of 22 short stories. Each story is thought-provoking yet humorous. I'm not a big fan of short stories, but I'm sure it'll be a treat for those who are. Congratulations on BOTD.

I like this review. It makes the stories sound vaguely like Brothers Grimm tales. I like the sound of them. I will be putting this book on my to-read list!

From the review, I'm very intrigued by the themes of the stories. They have characters with a twisted side which are really interesting and unique combinations. It seems like the stories can give us fresh perspectives which I'm very much looking forward to delve into. Thanks for the free copy.
