Racism is a sensitive topic to discuss. It must have taken Ledbetter a lot to put this book together. I'd love to see the so-called white man's perspective on racism.

Being a person of color the words race, and racism sound almost like a jail sentence. I am glad that Ledbetter expresses his opinion about these controversial topics. Your review is comprehensive and interesting to read. Although non-fiction books are not my favorite, I am willing to explore other issues in this book. Good job.

This is not for everyone. If you are willing to forego the sensitivity around this topic then you should have an open mind. I think it is ironic that despite human civilization's advancement some judge others based on their skin colour.

The author discusses about racism in depth. He shares his views on slavery, entitlement schemes and immigration among others. The author also points out modern day segregation and feels that a systemic approach needs be in place to curb racism.

This is a thorough review, well done. I also believe the best way to tackle racism is systematically. Using one standard for one race and another standard for another race is not the best, it indeed causes confusion. One race wanting to 'relax' with another could be misunderstood because the standards are different. I believe we've already started on the way forward and there'll be more progress with time.

A brilliant book that brings to the table deeper issues of racism. The author talks about the double standards of racism and cultural admiration seen as cultural appropriation. Different rules for people lead to further segregation in modern society.
