Review of One Jesus, One Way
One Jesus, One Way by The Proving Jesus Group is an enlightening book to help guide lost souls. It sheds light on Jesus's message to the seven churches in Asia Minor and constantly discusses the importance of the New Testament and the New Covenant. It's a call to the religious leaders to truly understand God's message to us and a plea to share this wisdom with their congregation. "Jesus Christ is the Son of God." Many still don't understand or even believe this to be true. The Proving Jesus Group shares examples in this short and concise book divided into three chapters. The first chapter introduces us to the new leader, the second is about His believers, and the third discusses the messages to each of the seven churches in Asia Minor and what they meant.
One Jesus, One Way is a book that makes me want to understand the scriptures better, especially the New Testament. It shows me that God's love for me is eternal, and I need to find my way back to Him when I feel lost. This book will give you similar hope and strength when you realize what's missing and follow His teachings. A verse mentioned in the book reminds us of the great sacrifice Jesus made for our salvation: "The Son of God assured us of his Father by his own death and resurrection (John 17:3)." It constantly elicits a devoted memory of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. It also warns us that when we follow the Word of God, the devil will always try to lead us into different temptations. How strong your relationship is with God and His Son will eventually decide who wins that spiritual battle.
The book has many valuable teachings and plenty of Bible verses that will help you connect with the lessons shared. It is believed that while in Patmos, Apostle John received a prophetic vision from Jesus. The churches in Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea each had an opposing force for which Jesus's messages were meant to help them overcome the obstacles and spread God's message to His children. The message to the church in Philadelphia spoke to me at a deeper level. In a way, it symbolized how when we stay strong in our faith even when life is tough, God rewards us by blessing us abundantly. All of the tribulations faced by each of those churches and Jesus's message to them are very much applicable in today's world. So, reading this book will be immensely helpful to you spiritually.
Although the book was short, it delivered a hope-filled and illuminating message. I found a few grammatical errors, so I think a round of editing will help. Other than that, there were no issues with the book; I rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
One Jesus, One Way will help readers understand God's message to us and will help them navigate their way through life's stumbling blocks and follow Jesus. The book holds immense value, especially for today's church leaders who have forgotten their true purpose and what they were called to serve.
