Hi @Amarachi Osuagwu, I just read your comments on the official review of “Waterworks” by Jack Winnick and I appreciate the humor in your response. I always try to tell readers enough to motivate them to read the book. You might want to enhance your reviews like the following: This a fictional story about a terrorist attack on the Los Angeles water supply. Teams of terrorists that were members of an Iranian anti-American group added Polonium to the water supply by dropping it in the water from bridges in socks that they used to bring the poison into the U.S. Lara and Uri were already in Los Angeles on vacation so they were deployed to track down the terrorists and then they were given new identities so that they could be sent to different parts of Iran to gather intelligence and find the terrorist leader in Iran. This is an action thriller that I did not want to put down until the last page. This book is Jack Winnick’s 5th book in this series and all of his books are thoroughly researched, well-written and have kept me on the edge of my seat until the last page. I highly recommend this book.

A detailed review points out the suspense, investigation, and throwing of a ball of terrorism. Reading a semi-suspense and investigative novel about the water system provides a close chance to view contamination. Throwing the FBI agents into the mix extends the author's series of novels.
We do not have problems only solutions waiting to be discovered.

From what I gather from the review, Waterworks seems like a thrilling, action-packed read. The premise, spies infiltrating Iran to prevent a potential terrorist attack involving radioactive materials is intriguing and brings a sense of urgency to the story. The attention to detail in the author’s writing is impressive, especially in the technical aspects of espionage, which keeps the plot grounded in reality.

I must say the summary in the review piqued my interest and I certainly am feeling the pull to grab this book. A plot featuring secret missions, the FBI and terrorist attack is an extremely appealing plot. I would love to explore this book.

I really appreciate it when books that are part of a series are also stand alone books. Thank you for pointing that out in this book. “Waterworks” sounds like an engaging read, and I am also glad to hear that it is easy to follow asI sometimes feel lost or confused after reading spy novels.

This review of "Waterworks" by Jack Winnick highlights its gripping, fast-paced narrative and meticulous attention to detail, making it a standout spy thriller. While the ease of accessing confidential information feels slightly unrealistic, the story’s realism and chilling premise are praised. A highly recommended read for fans of espionage and counterterrorism, though sensitive readers should note its violent themes and political perspective.

It is terrible that the ideas of weapons of mass destruction and terrorism are not confined to the imaginations and writings of skilled storytellers. They are not ideas, they actually exist in the world we live in, and it is so sad. Your review is on point.

"Waterworks" by Jack Winnick is an engaging and fast-paced thriller that keeps readers hooked from start to finish. The blend of real-world geopolitical concerns and well-researched technology adds a chilling sense of realism. The characters are well-developed, and the plot is laid out with meticulous attention to detail, making it easy to follow despite the complex espionage elements. While some aspects felt a bit too convenient, the overall story was gripping. Highly recommended for fans of spy thrillers and international intrigue!"

Sounds like an interesting book - a lot of set-up involved in the review to get us the plot, though!

I was doubtful while reading the storyline but thanks for mentioning that it was a pro israeli and pro USA viewpoint because that is something not interesting for me. But I am pretty sure that there will be people enjoying this work

The fact it's a FBI agent story is intriguing. I know I'll enjoy it
