It's good to know that the final book of this espionage thriller series is as good and intense. Lara and Uri duo seems to manage another amazing feat. Thanks for the insightful review!

I will be looking out for his books as well. I've only come across him from the BOTD, but the accolades are loud. Thankfully, his genre is the type I love to read. Who knows, he might release another book where you will finally get to know if the detective couple had a baby. Maybe the baby will grow to become a detective too 😀

I have always loved Jack Winnick's books. I can imagine how Lara and Uri mission goes in Tehran. They dared to walk into the lion's den. This would be an intriguing episode.

With the current war going on in the Middle East, it is really a suitable time to relook at the issue of terrorism and its effects. Thanks for the review.

As usual Jack Winnick has put impressive work into creating this book. Lara and Uri are faced with an undercover mission to solve the mystery of the water poisoning. The book is packed with action as they come to the end of the mystery. Congrats to the author. This review is also quite detailed.

This is a testament of a good work and comprehensive research. The tone of this review shows how intriguing the book is and I am fascinated already. I want to see how Lara and Uri will carry out their mission in Iran. It will be an awesome ride!

Thanks for your review, it gave a lot of insight as to the style of the author. I have to say, though, my favorite part was your descriptions of the protagonists. They sound like quite the intriguing couple, personally and professionally. I have this book on my shelves already, and although you gave this book a perfect rating, I'm going to have to go with my gut and read several others before this one. My reasoning is there are three instances that really turn me off in a book, no matter how good the storyline is. They are when the author 1) leaves you hanging with regards to closure with important supporting characters, but especially if this is done with the lead(s), and 2) focuses on long, drawn out, impertinent, and minute details which are usually unnecessary, and which ultimately end up being more tedious and distracting than they are at successfully establishing realism or authenticity, and 3) the flow or momentum of the book is altered abruptly, and without good cause. Particularly if the original pace of the story isn't resumed expeditiously. Your review seems to suggest all three are somewhat evident in this book, but the latter seems to be prevalent. Again, thank you for your review.

Its a bummer ! its the season finale of Jack Winnick's book, but i love it, though i have not read the previous two books. Waterworks was a good book about special agents new couple trying to find culprits who have caused innocent people to die due to counterterrorism.

Waterworks seems to tell how America and Israel band together to stop a planned Iranian terrorist attack on America. I have known about suicide bombers. Poisoning the water system in America is another level of terrorism. This book has some drama unfolding.

In the fifth installment of the Lara and Uri series, author, Jack Winnick, explores a fresh angle on terrorist threats. This time, it involves a possible water system poisoning, and the able duo, Lara and Uri, have to race against time and misdirection to catch the culprits before they do more damage.

I have enjoyed several series of Jack Winnick's books and cannot wait to start on this one. I would like to follow Lara and Uri's journey as a couple and undercover agents. The cooperation between the two agents and Tom Buckley from the Homeland Security Agencies is of particular interest.
