This counterterrorism thriller features agents Lara and Uri, who go undercover in Tehran after a Polonium attack at the Los Angeles Aqueduct Filtration Plant. Will they accomplish their mission? The book is fast-paced and features interesting characters who aid Lara and Uri's mission.

A story with a thriller for a story plot. Well developed characters. This is one readers do not want to miss out on. The best thing it can be read as a stand alone.

This book stands out for its detailed and realistic portrayal of counterintelligence operations, weaving technical and political knowledge seamlessly into a gripping thriller. Winnick’s expertise as a professor emeritus in chemical engineering adds a layer of credibility to the story, particularly in the way he handles complex details around technology and international espionage. Nice review.

Congratulations on the BOTD. Great sample I read. I believe, I would enjoy more starting with the first book of the series.

This was a well written review, and this is the 2nd review that I have read on a Lara and Uri book. The more of these reviews that I read the more interested I am getting in the series. This book sounds like a fascinating read. I love books about counter terrorism, and the plot of the book where terrorists target critical U.S infrastructure is one of great potential. I think I will be adding waterworks to my must read pile.
