Re: What am I? Riddle-Game
I'm a purposeful action
I transform something into something similar (not identical)
I help bridge gaps and share knowledge.
What am I?

Nope.
The biggest hint is clue #2. It's an action that transforms something into something similar.

WOW !!! YOU WERE BORN IN THE HOME OF THE WRIGHT BROTHERS!!!!???Diana Lowery wrote: ↑15 Mar 2025, 16:15 Dang, I should have guessed that one. I was born in Dayton, Ohio (home of the Wright brothers).

I was only born in Faith Hospital. An nondescript and otherwise totally unknown place.

I weighed 10 1/2 pounds. The first sound I heard in this world was my mother screaming to my father that he was a s.o.b. for some reason. Not an encouraging introduction to this world I can tell you.

Were the Wright Brothers home at the time?

I am totally lost on this one. I was going to say freezing ice cubes but it doesn't fit the third clue.

HINT: I'm also the title of an early aughts movie featuring Scarlett Johanson.
HINT #2: I can be done with technology, but the results would be subpar.

I must ponder my recollections of Scarlett's movies ....I just LOVED the movie The Prestige . If you haven't seen it I can strongly endorse it.

Well... there you go. You can expand your Scarlett knowledge and solve the riddle. Two birds with one stone.

The Prestige is rated 8.5 at International Movie Database which is a very high rating. I think you'd like it. Many twists and turns in the story, and if you've read any of my short stories you'd know how much I love a twist in stories or twist endings.María Andrea Fernández Sepúlveda wrote: ↑17 Mar 2025, 19:52

I am going to guess that the answer to the riddle is translation - or perhaps an online translator of languages. RE: From the Scarlett Johansson movie, Lost In Translation.

Of course that was the only Johansson movie whose title came close ~LOL~
NEXT RIDDLE:
1) I am human.
2) I am largely responsible for your ability to live.
3) I am taken for granted and seldom receive recognition for my work.
4) I have existed since man has lived in communities.
What is my profession?
