"Catching a Bird" sounds like an intense read! The fact that Stacy may not have been as innocent as her parents believed adds a fascinating twist to the investigation. I’m eager to see what Bonz uncovers in the end. Congrats on BOTD!

"Bonz even feels pride about his toddler causing problems at his private Catholic preschool." Much to the dismay of the strict nuns and puzzled parents. The mix of humour and chaos has been well blended.Thank you for the beautiful review.

'As Bonz continues digging up information about the Worcester County Killer, he learns Stacy may not have been the “good girl” that her parents claimed.'
This promises a murder thriller. Interesting!

Bonz’s sharp mind and unapologetic ways make for a gripping read. The twists keep coming, and his perspective adds a whole new depth to the story.

This review gives an intriguing glimpse into Catching a Bird and Bonz Buonopane’s morally gray character. I find it fascinating that Bonz isn't a traditional investigator but rather someone with a criminal past who still operates outside the law. The review highlights his unconventional parenting style and how his experience as a gangster makes him an effective yet unpredictable anti-hero. The mention of vivid details and strong character development makes me want to pick this book up. However, I appreciate the reviewer pointing out the fast-moving timeline—it’s good to know that it might be hard to track the passage of time. Thanks for such a detailed review!

This is a beautiful story, and the review brings it to life in a way that highlights the author's writing power. I wonder what Stacy's real lifestyle was, anyway. Congratulations on being the book of the day.

Bonz Buonopane, a retired gangster, lived with his wife and two sons. One morning, while he was at his wife's salon, he received a call from a distressed woman. When Jamie's husband took over the conversation, Bonz discovered that their daughter, Stacy, had been murdered a year prior. Although Bonz informed them that he was not a private investigator, Jack insisted that Bonz had a reputation for being "a guy that gets things done." Intrigued by the situation, Bonz agreed to meet the couple at the Ocean Grill. Jamie cautioned him that the police suspected Stacy was a victim of the Worcester County killer. Jack offered Bonz two thousand dollars to help uncover Stacy's murderer.

Quite an interesting search for a killer and in the process, the realization that the dead girl may not have been an angel herself surfaces. This book has the capacity to plunge readers into a world of mystery which can only be solved by browsing through the book till the end.

This sounds like a fast paced crime thriller with a former gangster searching for a serial killer. However, based on the review the gangster may not be completely retired. With touches of humor, this sounds like an interesting book that I would enjoy.
