Anxious to get to this journey with Tom on a three week retreat learning about faith and meditations. Let's go out with "Digging for God" as written by Tom Hillman. Congratulations book of the day

I actually loved as the author used the book to show that segregating oneself to have a spiritual encounter at a place of choice is actually therapeutic. This book is going to be an amazing one.

Nice review! The sample of the book made it seem like it was this beautiful resort that he was visiting. The short book sounds interesting now that I know that it is not a religious story.

Today's BOTD isn't the one for me, but I like how the author's style of writing and descriptions allow the reader to learn, explore, and make conclusions on their own. It sounds very peaceful and inviting. Thank you so much for your review; it was very helpful! :-)

Tom Hillman's "Digging for God" portrays a three-week men's ashram retreat. The book explores themes of brotherhood, serenity, and communal living, inspiring introspection and highlighting the benefits of meditation, service, and letting go of negativity. While the cover might suggest a religious focus, the book emphasizes these life-changing practices without referencing any specific religion. Highly recommended for those interested in the ashram experience and its positive impact.

I am sorry to say that I am not religious person nor am I into any spiritual practices like meditation or yoga. Therefore, I just can't be interested in reading about someone else experience in living in the ashram. Unfortunately, I will have to skip this book, but congrats with BOTD anyway!

This book sounds really cool because it talks about a special place where people go to find peace and think deeply. I want to read what life in ashram is like.

I thought it was a religious book judging from the title and thought it won’t be actually nice to read. But reading your review alone is captivating. Now I know the book will really be worth reading.

Digging for God sounds like a unique book, and the idea of an all-men retreat in an ashram is fascinating. I would love to read it.

This review and the sample describe a retreat at an ashram as a good way to reflect on life and make plans for self improvement. While I might prefer a less rustic environment, I’m sure the setting lends itself to meditation and introspection. Three weeks away from the fast paced lives we lead sounds wonderful to me, but couldn’t it be in Hawaii?

'Official Review: Digging for God' by Tom Hillman is an elegant and sublime expression of the non-fiction's content. It conveys the main idea of the book. The author transports readers into an all-men, three-week retreat in an ashram. He demonstrates his sense of humor when talking about the long meditation sessions in the resort. Readers will feel as if they are enjoying a sense of brotherhood, serenity, and communal life in the ashram. Finally, this book emphasizes the benefits of letting go of resentments, redirecting negative thoughts, meditation, and service.
