:tiphat: The review of this book, "Negative Shape - the Defining Attribute," addresses a subject in the art of drawing that I have never taken the time to explore. The review is detailed and explains the slow aspect of entering the information, further developing the interest generated by the author's thorough explanation of the drawing process. This review spurred my interest to explore the complete text. Thank you for an encompassing review.

It's a great book which encourages artists not to give up. "Negative shape" meaning negativity that they face by society or world view.

Reading the review of this book, I wondered what negative spaces are. So I went in search of the meaning explained in a simple way, as I am not familiar with the art world. I am interested in the subject and I am sure that by reading the book I will learn a lot.

I can definitely recall many books that I have also read that had a slow start and one has to push on, but at some point, everything changes and you cannot get enough of it. I like the challenge to view life from different perspectives. The book is on my to-read shelf.
Many thanks for the review, @Alexander C Schmoock.

Thank you for your review. I read the sample. Although the book is for artists, it is a teaching about thinking 'out of the box' in all things. It is nice that she shared this in a book. Congrats on the #BOTD.
