This is so difficult to answer as depends on several factors ie. length of book, style of writing, my level of tiredness/comfort at time of reading. However, I did finish the last Harry Potter the same day I got it so maybe 8hrs? Most of the time I will finish a book in 6-8hrs but I do read pretty long books.

I finished books much more quickly in elementary school, and not because they were shorter. I would read the original Nancy Drew books in grade 2! I just had more time than I do now. Now, I finish about 2 books a week on average.

It depends on the size of the book. I read a book a day, with the books averaging 350 pages. I love to read, and some books read faster than others. Depends on the author and subject.

I read pretty fast; because of that I prefer to only select book that are more than 300 pages in length. My best time was Beautiful Disaster, which I finished in two days.

Probably a day. But it would depend on the book and how long I had to spend reading.

I am a really fast reader so I can read a book like the Da Vinci Code in a couple of hours.

Once I start reading and the book catches my interest I can't put it down...I have to know what happens

Added up probably 5-8 hours. I rarely get the chance to read for that much time straight.

I finished each harry potter book in one day. I can read a full length novel, at least 800 pages in less than a day. Bring it on!!!

I actually read The Fault in Our Stars in less than six hours because I was so crazy about the story, characters, and just about everything else!

I read The Giver in less than 3 hours a few weeks ago and I felt really proud about that personal record! Granted that book is relatively short and it typically takes me a few days to read full length novels, but I was still impressed with myself. ;)

I always wanted to know how long it took me to read a book, but I always forget to look at the time when I start or finish.
