I think my best was when I read three of the Foundation series books by Isaac Asimov in two days, starting on a Saturday morning. I read the first one, and now I can't stop. I'm going into the night. So what? Get coffee, take a short break and then back to the 'movie'. I make it halfway through the second book, Foundation and Empire. When the words starting fuzzing up from exhaustion I quit reading. On Sunday I finish up Empire and move on to Second Foundation. All over before midnight. I thought about those books for weeks afterward. I never re-read them though. Maybe I should. :)

The last book I read only took 2 hours but it was 200 pages or less. I usually can finish a good book in an afternoon if I read for most of it, otherwise, it'll take me a few days or a week or so, depending on how busy I am.

Depending on how well the book is written and if it's one of my favorite authors I've been known to read a book within 2-3 hours of downloading it the thicker the better I say when I buy one from. The store but since I have my iPad I don't buy any more books at the store they've mainly been online . I've also been know to read at least 5-6 books a day. My love for reading was installed in me at a very young age around 3yrs old I remember my grandfather coming home to read me a few books before bedtime they were dr. Suess back then but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Now that I'm in my 40s I still can't get enough of books I like to read about Fairy's,werewolves, vampires, elemental supernatural all sorts of different kinds of mystery, thrillers, and other fiction. What I have been enjoying now is being able to give a review that helps other readers decide if they would like to read that particular book. The books that pull me into the story and make me feel like I'm there and actually crying for those individual characters is what I love most.

I recently have my 17 yr old son reading some of my books and it's great to see his excitement as he comes back into me and wants to discuss the book that he's finished that I've already read it's great to have that connection with him.

If it's during the summer it takes me a couple hours to a day, but if it's during the school year it takes me a couple of days.

I've finished books, especially new ones in a series I was reading at the time, in a day or less. Others take a bit longer.
