Dear love

I know you exist somewhere
Let me know where you are so I can meet you there
So you can stare in my eyes and play in my hair and mean all the things that you whisper in my ear
Show me that you care

Dear Love

Please wait for me if I’m not ready to receive everything it is that you have to bring
Please forgive me for the things that I did and didn’t mean and the unforeseen
Because I’m still growing and learning how to be
Things no one has ever taught me

Dear love

Despite what I’ve been through
I still believe in you
And I hope you still want me because I want you to
I hope you can forget about my past
And Love me in the new
Love me in the now
I never knew love
Can you teach me how?
