This book, The Antigen, sounds interesting and the review made it sound like a book I have been longing for. The theme of this book makes me think about Covid pandemic and questioning whether it was also planned. The author makes it more interesting by also reflecting to being a journalist. Great review

I love the plot that this book holds. It seems intriguing, full of curiosity, and I'm hoping there are some unexpected twists to keep up with suspense. I hope I can thoroughly read the first book sooner rather than later but thankfully there is a "recap" of it in this book so with that I won't be too lost. Overall, pandemic/apocalyptic story types tend to catch my interest quite easily but I hope that I genuinely enjoy this specific story. :) I'm excited to give this a read!!

'The plot of the novel is far from simple. The main theme is journalism—its ethics, limitations, and the legal aspects.'
I like the themes I've seen so far. I'm most interested in the suspense, murders, hacking, and so on.

Thank you for the review and letting us know that we do not need to read the first part. When I saw it was the second in the series, I did not want to download it, but I did and will probably read it now. The threat of creating pandemics is real. It will make an interesting read.

The Antigen" by A.I. Fabler is a book about the deliberate spread of viruses. Ever since the pandemic, books like this hit too close to home.

The book already seem entertaining with the revelation of what has transpired over a periodic timeframe of lust for money, such conspiracy, greed and all that had happened could become common knowledge, as the reader takes a ride with an investigative journalist.

“The Antigen" by A.I. Fabler though a novel sounds like a real life story. You get to see journalism and resilience in full form. Congratulations on being BOTD.

By reading the sample, I immediately felt the pacing of a suspense novel. With the fast pacing and the similarities between the virus in the book and COVID, it easily piqued my interest. The author’s style of writing isn’t my favorite. The personalization of characters seem very surface level, especially for side characters. It isn’t so distasteful that I wouldn’t read it though.

Thank you for this incredibly thorough and insightful review! I appreciate how you highlighted the multiple layers of The Antigen: The Seed of Corruption Pt 2. It’s fascinating that the book tackles not just the ethics of journalism but also weaves in complex issues like counterfeit art, bioengineering, and global corruption. I was especially intrigued by your point about Faraday's character—his combination of artistic sensitivity and grounded practicality sounds compelling. It’s also refreshing to hear that Caroline is portrayed as a strong, independent whistleblower. I do find it a bit surprising that Tuan, being central to the story's conflict, has limited presence in the narrative. That makes me curious to read it and see how the author managed to balance that. Overall, your review makes it clear this book offers more than just suspense—it offers thoughtful commentary too.

'Official Review: The Antigen: The Seed of Corruption Pt 2' by A. I. Fabler takes an in-depth look into the intricate plot of crime fiction. It sheds light on every component of the story. This is the story of Faraday, a partner in wildlife, and Caroline, a journalist. They had valuable information that could take the world by storm. The story's main theme is journalism - its ethics, limitations, and legal aspects. It was great to learn that the book is not limited to light entertainment but has serious themes and elaborate plots.

Definitely not my cup of tea, because the book sounds like the ultimate science fiction, and I am not very fond of the genre. Add to it that I do believe in conspiracy theories about labs growing new pandemics, and it becomes clear why I prefer to skip the book, but congrats with BOTD, anyway!
