Today's BOTD is an autobiography that spans over 50 years of the author's career in management consulting, exploring the growth and transformation of the profession in Italy from the 1960s to the early 2000s. Combining professional insight with personal experience, readers will be pleased with the vivid and humorous picture it paints of both his business and personal life. I am not sure if this is the book for me, but I have downloaded my copy. I greatly appreciate your helpful review! :-)

The book seems to offer a lot of wisdom and good advice about life choices. I admire the author's strength to get up after every life hurdle and the way he stays true to himself. I'm not a biography fan, but I hope the book reaches its right audience.

Thank you for another informative review. I'm glad you enjoyed it and it was professionally edited. It is remarkable that he can remember names and details that long ago. I hope that many will enjoy this book, but I will pass on it. I'm not interested on reading memoirs on business any more.

In this book the author talks about the words or the words of others, and also shows that every person who has lived on earth has a story worth sharing. Also the author writes about his personal and professional experiences. Meanwhile the author instructs his readers on how to continue learning while retaining a teachable temperament. He demonstrated this by leading the different professional associations to which he joined, which led to excellent contacts from Rome to Brazil, Zanzibar, and other places. His tale was incredibly motivating also it is a very good BOTD.

This book sounds so informative! I might see this as a dry subject, but I'm sure there are people out there who want to learn more and more about management! Kudos on the BOTD!

This book seems very interesting, mostly due to this review. I myself am not one to read memoirs though. "Memoirs of a Management Consultant" by Franco Guazzoni provides an account of the author's life as a management consultant.""

This sounds like such a rich and inspiring memoir! I love that it doesn't just highlight success, but also explores personal growth, setbacks, and the value of staying teachable. Franco Guazzoni seems like someone who really lived with purpose and left a legacy beyond just business wins. Definitely sounds like a great read for anyone into leadership, management, or life stories full of wisdom.

As a rule, I am not all that fond of autobiographies as a genre, because every time I tried it in the past, the content sounded to some extent like bragging. But after reading the description of the book, almost despite myself, I got interested because it tells not just the story of professional success but also insight into an adventurous life full of extraordinary experiences like "whale hunt, a duel that ended badly, friendships and also football and cycling." I am really disappointed that the book is free, yet unavailable for purchase in my country((
