I agree that The Irrational Fear Cure's images and editing are of high quality. Readers diagnosed with OCD would find the book's tips useful.
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

An excellent place to start the healing process would be with this book. However, as the book implies that Christianity is the "true" religion, it might be more appropriate for those who are open-minded. The author claims that because of the unreasonable worries we all had as children, we all live in survival mode and turn to obsessive-compulsive activities. Good BOTD.

I don't believe the book will be of much practical use to me personally, but I still would like to read it, so to say, for general development, because you never know when such information may come in useful. I agree with the reviewer's point of view that irrational fears, addictions, and obsessive-compulsive behaviors become quite common issues to encounter and I want to be educated on what they are and how to help in case someone will require assistance. Thanks and congrats!

Many people have phobias, so I'm sure The Irrational Fear Cure: In Four Miraculous Steps by Teri Smith-Pickens will help quite a lot of us. It's also great that real-life stories, including those of the author's, were included.

Childhood trauma can raise different disorders in a person. According to this book, obsessive-compulsive disorder is prominent. What is it and how is it handled?

Thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful review! I appreciate how you highlighted the use of colorful illustrations at the start of each chapter — it sounds like a creative way to prepare readers emotionally for the material ahead. I also find it helpful that the author included real-life stories like Chelsea’s and the young engineer’s to make the concepts more relatable. It’s reassuring to hear that the book is well-edited and provides references for the statistics mentioned, which definitely adds credibility. Your review makes it clear that The Irrational Fear Cure isn't just theoretical but offers practical, real-world examples and a compassionate tone. I’m even more interested in reading it now!

I especially like the part of the pictures at the beginning of each chapter. Truly, many of us are living with fears that are making us live less than we could attain. I'm so glad for a book like this to help us understand and overcome.

Smith-Pickens compellingly argues that childhood-driven irrational fears trap us in a survival mode filled with obsessive-compulsive behaviors, offering a clear framework to break free through her four miraculous steps.
