Reading a book in one day

Is it a bad that sometimes I get so into books that I read the whole book in one day

I wouldn't consider it bad...the only ''bad'' thing about that, in my opinion, is that the book ends all too quickly. I do this quite often, like today, I blasted through 2 books. And now it feels like I might have missed a few things because I coulnd't turn the page fast enough, that's how good the books were!

It's not bad,I have done the same thing and at the end of the book I am a little sad becouse I want it to last forever lol:)

I agree that it isn't bad. What might be is that I get so into books I sometimes worry the author may pass away or stop writing before the end of a series.

I almost always get a book read in a day. I have to have something quiet to do at night while everyone else is sleeping.

I say that if you can read a book in one day you should consider yourself lucky and enjoy it! My husband and I recently took our first vacation without children in 8 years, and I read at least 3 books per day. (And it was the most relaxing vacation ever.)

I do this often. I only feel bad if I just bought the book. Especially if its a hard cover. If its one ive borrowed, then its cool.

Reading a book in a single day can be extremely powerful. The only reason I could give for this being bad is if you read instead of getting important things done.

Oh, I wish I had the time! Hopefully, I'll have more time over the summer. I remember reading a Goosebumps book in a single day as a child though

Does anyone get that overindulgence icky feeling when you sit and read for a LONG time? Like approaching a 1/3 of a book. It's like *wow this is SO good, I can''t wait to see what happens next* then *oh no, oh no, oh no. I've gotta put this down.*

Often. But only once before the age of 40. Recently I sat with The Prophet and allowed the day to pass reflecting and re-reading the book in its entirety with many passages 2-3 times. In 2 days I busted out Wally Lambs, This much I know is True. That was impressive.

I try to read a book every day. That sounds like a lie, but it really is true. I can get through 400/500 books if I read from until I get in until I go to bed. I wouldn't say it is necessarily bad, just that it might ruin your social life.

I love finishing books in one day. If I could, and if I had the time, I would love to read all my books in one day. Although I understand that people want to savor the books, I have a growing to-read list that just keeps piling up. I would love to finish as many books as I can and as quickly as possible so I can read other books. I really don't see anything wrong with finishing a book in one day and I honestly am not really the type to savor the book. I like to read fast and I love page turners. Even though the book is over before I know it, I love losing myself in the story and reading fast to see what happens next. This keeps me interested.
