While the description in the review portrays the book as a helpful guide to improve your lifestyle, I am afraid it will be mostly of no use for me personally. I know myself well enough already to say that many of the methods mentioned won't work on me, since the only sure way of stress-relieving activity is doing something with my hands. No "yoga to meditations, stretches, breath work" or any other passive exercises ever helped me. Still, congratulations on BOTD!

"Wellness on the Weekly" by Adrianne Lind is a guide through fifty-two weeks of wellness activities for a more complete well-being. The scope of this book is to help readers understand their physical, emotional, and mental well-being in the best possible way through activities, easy prompts and stress-relieving activities. This book is packed with yoga, meditations, breathing exercises, stretches and journaling progress toward goals. This method will improve our lifestyles while reducing dependence on conventional medicine for pain relief and medications for anxiety and depression. Reading this book will trigger positive change in one’s life. For example, the 4-7-8 breathing technique will help one that struggles with sleep. The author did not intend readers to reach perfection but rather gain a sense of fulfilment and the calm that follows. The videos and drawings will help readers better understand the chapter and the quotes at the end of each chapter are very encouraging. I highly recommend this 5 out of 5-star rated book and I will continue to read and apply the remainder of the book.

Many people neglect certain areas of health because they don't seem important. I appreciate the author's holistic approach towards health in this book, to help us attain all-round health. I also like that it has a practical approach so one can begin to practice immediately and get results.

Mindfulness: This book offers a lot of advice and is a guide to starting to develop this lifestyle. Everyday life brings with it many stressful things, and knowing how to stay centered and at peace is a great relief. The cover of this book is striking, and I would definitely choose it. Congratulations on the #BOTD, great work!

I'd love to read this book. Wellness is important, and I like that this book emphasizes that and presents different activities and "the opportunity to experiment with different self-care techniques" in a fun way. Congrats on BOTD!

I noticed from the review that "Wellness on the weekly" can be an interesting read to discover new techniques to ensure your calm and mental well-being daily. The 52 methods aim to improve you physically and mentally. I think it is useful because we are all subject to very high stress daily. The structure of the book is clear and simple, it invites you to go through it.

I would love to know how someone with an 8-5 develops such a routine, especially when you wake up at 5 am and you're at work by 8 and leave at 5 pm exhausted, beat, and burned out. Otherwise I'll be sharing my piece on how I keep well, healthy and fit within those timeframes.

From the replies, lemme know if that is something, you'd engage with.

Gracias.
