I'm very much interested in the analysis on Ukraine war as captured in this book, and I'm impressed with the potential information that could be made available to readers via this book.

"In Plain Sight" by Susan Mallett is a unique read, and I like the idea of looking beyond what is in front of us and looking for patterns. Congratulations on the book of the day.

Nice review. I'm over all of the different books about the pandemic and who was right and who was wrong. I stopped taking the boosters after the second one, as the vaccines and the booster were making me horribly sick for at least five days. I knew that they were just not right for me. Now they are saying that they were not right for anyone. Who knows. It's over and done with. We can't go back, but maybe we will know better if it ever happens again.

This is an excellent read describing in excellent chronological order the unexpected events that unfolded on a challenging 2022. I'm curious to learn about how the author presents the events from a different perspective.

Today's BOTD is a nonfiction read that covers various events and happenings from January 20-December 31, 2022. Filled with easy-to-understand language and explanations, readers will find this to be both engaging and informative.

I just want to add that you made some great points in your review, and I fully agree with what you said regarding professionalism and bias. At first today's BOTD sounded like a cool read, but now I'm wondering if it's written only to please a specific type of reader, which is a bit of a let down. Unfortunately, I don't think this is the book for me. I greatly appreciate your review! It was well-written and very helpful. Thank you! :-)

This review is exactly the type of review I would want to read when deciding to pick up a book. You give a fair evaluation while also warning of the conspiratorial and perhaps biased opinions presented in the book. Often, those who wish to justify their biases will claim that by going into excruciating detail and recounting everything, that they are telling the truth, but in the end, everything written was still their interpretation of the events. I'll be happy to give this one a pass, thanks to your excellent review.

Definitely not my cup of tea, because the book is about quite recent history and I remember the events that transpired well all by myself, therefore I need no outlook on them from outsider. No offense meant, I am sure the author's view is interesting, but I still prefer to skip. Congratulations!

Your review balanced both the book's strengths and the flaws. I get that the author has her opinions. It is thought-provoking and sounds interesting to some people. But I'm not into political analysis. Thank you for the insightful review.

'Official Review: In Plain Sight' by Susan V. Mallet sheds light on the main thoughts of the nonfiction work. It is informative and illustrative. The book deeply describes the events of 2022, such as the pandemic, political upheaval, death, and transition of a monarch, social unrest, etc. Author Susan Mallet questions things and examines them insightfully to observe patterns. Additionally, the book covers the war in Ukraine. Mallet's views are dominantly right-wing!

From the very beginning, this book grabs attention by offering a critical perspective on the scientific and media narratives surrounding the pandemic. The author’s approach—spotting patterns hidden "in plain sight"—invites readers to think differently about recent global events. The January 20th entry highlights the impact of the Omicron variant and the shifting stance of authorities, encouraging reflection on what may have truly driven policy decisions. I'm curious to keep reading and see how these personal observations unfold into a deeper analysis
