Re: Who's Your Favorite Author?

I have several favorite authors. When I really like a book I've read, especially if I liked it because of the writing style, I'll read all the books by that author. One of my favorites is Riley Sager. I first got one of his books in my Book of the Month subscription box, and I really enjoyed the mystery/thrill of the story, so I went back and read his other books. I don't get very many books right when they're released because I usually buy my books used, but I got Riley Sager's 2 most recent books on release day. I'm also excited for his next book that is coming out soon. Riley Sager's books aren't perfect, but I just really enjoy the stories. All of his books are mystery/thrillers, with multiple twists that really keep you guessing.

Another of my favorite authors is Neal Shusterman. I first had to read a book of his in middle school. I forgot how good of an author he is until I read the Arc of a Scythe series recently. This is now one of my favorite books/series. I've been collecting Neal Shusterman books as I see them book shopping, so I can continue reading all of his books.

An author that I'm recently starting to love is Victoria "V.E." Schwab. I read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue a while ago and loved the story and the writing style. I'm currently reading her book Gallant, and loving the writing style with this one, too. I'm going to have to get more of her books!

I have many favorite authors but in the romance genre I have my top ones.
I Love T S. Joyce and her shifter series. She brings romance, over coming obstacles and humor in each story. Kristen Proby brings love stories to life with real life hardships and finding that one true person for everyone. Aurora Rose Reynolds brings real action pack heroes to life. Their connections to the ones they love are impactful. That's just a few of the authors I enjoy reading.

Haruki Murakami. I can read him even if he writes in a language I do not speak.

Davud Eddings, Lisa Shearin, Robin Hobb, Jennifer Roberson, Melanie Rawn, G Odgen, James Maxwell. To name a few!

David Baldacci is my number one choice. His mastermind of writing a good murder mystery just amazes me. He educates himself very well before he writes the book and it’s as if he is the knower of all! The endings of his novels are always mind boggling.

You are correct on that note, Krisie Stocker! In fact I like a few of the writers you have mentioned. To list all my favourite writers would probably need a whole forum!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoy Mona Awad's books and you might like her novels based on a couple of the authors you mentioned. All's Well is my favorite of hers.

Lois Lowery is my favorite author. I remember reading this book in 8th grade and just fully immersing myself into that world.

I also love JK Rolling because of Harry Potter.

Riley Sager is a great author as well. His thrillers are amazing.

And of course, classic authors like Jane Austin.

I could go on and on.
