The book sounds fascinating. To escape into a simulation in an attempt to solve your problems..... or maybe get some new ones. It will be interesting to read this book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

"The advances in technology and the rise of virtual reality make the future presented in Anticipation Day seem plausible." I have been deeply engaged by the reviewer's insights and drawn completely into the narrative. I wonder how the escape felt as the ultimate adventure and what followed after. My great next read has just arrived!

Thanks for the detailed review. I like how the book mixes real-life problems with future tech through the use of simulations. Alexandra’s story sounds especially emotional and personal. It’s helpful to know the ending felt rushed—still sounds like a strong read for sci-fi fans who enjoy character-driven stories.

I can't say that sci-fi books are interesting to me, but the reviewer did a great job of pointing out the key points of the book. I would consider giving this book a chance.

Anticipation Day is an interesting book and I would love to know how the participation in the simulation was for the group of friends.

Placing this book on my to read list. The thought of escaping the stress of daily life and possibly seeing the "what if I did this instead" is definitely appealing. Great Review!

Definitely not my cup of tea, because not only do I dislike the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre, but I also highly doubt this deal with "simulation" will be a working concept, but then again, addictions push people into doing numerous crazy things and if the government gets involved it becomes more complicated.

"Anticipation Day" sounds like a really thought-provoking read. The idea of simulations letting people work through life's challenges in a new reality feels so relevant to our own escapism. I'm drawn to how the characters confront their issues through these experiences. It feels like a story that would stick with me. Congrats BOTD!

Thank you for your honest and well-written review. The plot in Anticipation Day sounds so fascinating. The content warning might hold me back. But I'm still curious what choices each character makes in that simulation. And what could go wrong knowing the government is involved? I'm sure every choice comes with consequences that they need to anticipate once they come back to reality.

The book characters feel real and relatable, each carrying their own personal struggles and viewpoints into the simulation. The author does a great job blending the sci-fi concept with honest, emotional storytelling, making the book both thought-provoking and surprisingly moving.

'Official Review: Anticipation Day' by Jeff Michelsen has a vivid and unique introduction. It provides a useful glimpse into the science fiction plot. The book takes us into the near future, where simulations can bring us into a character's body in any setting. It follows a group of friends as they participate in the simulations. The characters' simulations were well-tailored to help them face a major issue in their lives. It was great to learn that the book reveals the potential of technology in the future!
