Gary's journey to find justice while in prison for a crime he didn't commit sounds intense. The mix of lucid dreaming, doppelgangers, and timelines is really interesting. I'm curious how it all unfolds. Congrats on BOTD!

Congrats on BOTD!
"The Futility of Vengeance" by Adam Guest chronicles the implementation of hallucinations by Gary, who was falsely incarcerated for homicide, to track down the genuine perpetrator over time. A tense, sentimental, and bizarre sequel to Worldlines.

Thank you for your review. I read the sample. Gary is in prison for killing his girlfriend at his friend's birthday party. But he claims he did not do it. This book is a sci-fi mystery you will want to read!

Thank you for this amazing review of the psychological fantasy novel, it contains all different timelines the novel has, it is well structured, good choice of words though there's a few errors but overall, im rating this review a 5/5

I'm not particularly interested in sci-fi books, but I do like mystery books so this may be a book I need to read. I could never imagine having to do prison time for a crime I didn't commit. Thank you for such an amazing review.

This kind of novel always make you feel anticipated as you read more and more. Fuel your curiosity to know whether justice was served or not. I personally love these kind of story. I didn't read Worldlines though. I should probably add that too in my reading list.

Truly a compelling review and an enthralling narrative of Adam Guest's "The Futility of Vengence". I am particularly interested to read more about Gary's multiple realities and if he eventually got justice.

I thought in was intense. Being in jail when your an innocent person has to be horrible to say the least.

The torture Gary felt in prison was horrendous and unjustified, especially since he was not guilty of the crime he was imprisoned for. Will Gary prove his innocence and become a free man once more? How does the multi-universe background play into this? Congrats on BOTD!

'Maybe it’s because they are yet to fully understand the possibility of one to be possessed by his doppelganger from another timeline through lucid dreaming.'
This is interesting. Does it mean that a Gary that is not the Gary in prison killed Michelle?

Wow, this was such a detailed and insightful review.I love how you broke down the complexities of the multiverse and lucid dreaming without making it confusing. It’s great to hear that The Futility of Vengeance kept character relationships consistent across timelines that kind of coherence can really make or break a sci-fi story. I’m especially intrigued by Gary’s journey to uncover the truth while imprisoned. Definitely adding this to my reading list!

Writing a book with multiple timelines is very complicated. I'm glad Adam Guest was able to write an interesting book and limit the character count, so the reader does not get lost in a spiraling multitude of changing relationships. It is also nice to find a book that is sci-fi and appropriate for teens as far as sexual content is concerned. Thank you for the recommendation.
