I have and I have the board to put over the tub and hold my book. But I usually only read paperbacks that I got from the used book store.

Reading in the bath is my favorite! I try not to get my hands wet until after I am done reading because it tends to ruin or "scar" the books.

I used to read while taking a bath, but now I just take showers and read while the water is warming up.

I am afraid to admit that I have numerous times. Since I am a mom sometimes that is the only place I can get away for a while when I am in a good spot in the book. Nobody ever bothers me when I am taking a bath!

Yes, but I always worry that I will drop my book in the water.

Putting it in a zip lock block is brilliant!! Thanks!

I have quite a few times. But most recently, I have set my kindle to read the book to me (just so it would turn the page for me and I wouldn't have to get it wet) and I would actually read it myself because I didn't like the voice it used, and had to follow along anyway.

I tried. Once. And I dropped the book. That was such a disaster. :(

I used to do it all the time. I take showers now, so I don't anymore.

Yes.It is relaxing to do so but I hate it when the book gets wet and I'm scared I'll drop it in the tub and I'll ruin it, paranoid I guess. So I don't do it anymore.

I always read in the bath! Some people worry about getting the book wet or dropping it in but if the book doesn't look used how do you expect people to believe you read it?

I have. I have a hand towel nearby to dry my hands once I am submerged in a nice Epsom Salt Bath, with a towel rolled up behind my neck for comfort. And I indulge in my current book while relaxing on rare occasions when I feel up to it. But I would much prefer a cozy area by a window on a stormy night with the lights dimmed and my favorite snack & beverage nearby.

Before I had kids, when I actually had time to take a bath, I would frequently read in the bath.
