I like the action genre. Anyone can write an action story. But only a few can make it exciting and not boring. From the review, it seems the author did a great job doing it.

I like that the reviewer highlighted the emotional side of the police characters, which isn’t always common in action novels. The rallying and technical details about bombs and weapons add authenticity, and the idea of chapter headings being pulled from within the chapters is a nice stylistic touch. It’s also cool that the book blends intense action with deeper themes like grief, justice, and loyalty. Sounds like a solid, movie-worthy read.
