I think the fact that I kept forgetting that the characters were not humans was the most memorable aspect.

The most memorable aspect of this book was the friendship between Watcher and Bushytail. I liked the part where Bushytail attempted to approach humans, not knowing that Watcher was seeing his movements. Watcher followed Bushytail silently and even tried to warn him to retreat. However, Bushytail was determined, and Watcher ended up risking his life to save his friend. I think the friendship between the two was admirable.
