Leah Warner had a near death experience, and because of this, something supernatural seemed to change her perception of life. Like the reviewer, I think this is a good plot concept and makes for some deep thinking.

'The Message' is about Leah, the 'chosen one' to share the word of God. However, she faces several difficulties in a world ruled by money and power; people have no time or interest in listening to what God has to share.

Thank you for posting such an impartial and detailed review.
It helps to know that this is not as much of an “easy read” as it will make you think a little more. I do enjoy easy reads so that I can let my mind relax, but I also enjoy the more thought provoking stories.
Looking forward to reading this book in full.

This review makes the book sound deeply thought-provoking. I’m intrigued by how Leah’s experience challenges big ideas without pushing a specific agenda. Dr. Marcus also sounds like a standout character. Definitely adding this to my list.

Wow, great review! A simple message of loving one another and being content with what we have in this world can have a deeper meaning in different aspects of society.

While it might be hard for someone who believes in something not to be biased toward it, the ideas that you mentioned in the review can definitely be framed in several different ways. I assume that other than the simple message of living in harmony and treating each other with respect and love, the opportunities to offer some "hmmmm" moments, have to be there. Great review!

I also believe that when something miraculous happens in your like like in Leah's case the response is taken in both ways both who believe and skeptics. Great review

What an interesting plot, I feel like Leah's story might be quite the read, making you think and reevaluate how you treat others.

Thank you for your great review of Avam Hale’s novel "The Message?"
I like the eye on the book cover! To me, that eye expresses the link between the outer world and the inner world of the soul.
And to me, it also symbolizes Leah's journey, her connection to that inner world when she is in a coma, and recovers fully, with a message from God.
I plan to read the novel because, to me, it's about the holistic way of living life - philosophy, culture, politics, family, and the everyday stuff of life.
It's about thinking about and being challenged to keep the spiritual and material life in balance, and about being tolerant and open-minded.
Congrats on BOTD!

Congrats on BOTD.
In 'The Message,' Leah is the 'selected one' to preach the gospel. She nevertheless has to confront a number of challenges in a society where riches and influence prevail; individuals are not interested in or do not have the time to hear what the Lord is saying.

This book sounds both thought-provoking and emotionally compelling. I’m really interested in seeing how Leah’s near-death experience transforms not just her life but those around her. The idea of a simple message causing such a ripple through society definitely makes me interested in reading the book. Congrats BOTD!

This review borders on the author's message and ability to portray it. From the review, readers can understand that the book narrates a widower who had an accident, fell into a coma, and had an out-of-body experience in his comatose state.

He saw God.

God told him to pass on a message when he returned to life. Basically, different outstanding characters were used to describe and paint the vivid picture that the author was trying to convey. The reviewer explains that the author describes these characters so well to the extent that she had a crush on one of them.

Talk about making a character come alive.

The author should be rewarded for such a clear cut creation of characters, to the extent of being able to potray the character's emotions so in-depthly that the reader can connect with such a character. That shows a true author with a true skill, and an avid reader and reviewer who detects such a skill and sings the author's praises.

Leah's near-death experience opens doors to a whole lot of questions. I wonder what this narrative will force readers to reconsider. I am interested in tracking Leah's journey. Thank you for your interesting review!
